I love Cinco de Mayo
In 1912 when the Titanic left on its voyage most people know it was headed to New York. But some folks are unaware that the second port of call was to be Vera Cruz Mexico. Another little known fact is that the Titanic was loaded with mayonnaise to be delivered there. But, as most of us are aware, it never made it. Mayonnaise is considered a delicacy in Mexico and folks were disappointed that it didn't make it so they declared a national day of mourning that we now call Sinko de Mayo...................
