Benchmade has a new folder....
...that I am very impressed with. 3 1/8" drop-point blade made out of 154CM (one of my favorite knife steels -- 154CM was the steel that Bob Loveless established his reputation with), textured G-10 scales that I'm sure won't get slippery when they get wet or bloody, and an open design to make it easy to clean. A VERY well thought out and solidly built knife!

good looking purposeful blade. I like the finger guard too.

that knife gets a lot of discussion
Benchmade typically has blades that aren't real wide and don't have a lot of belly so this knife is a big departure for them. Some people like it, some people don't. I don't understand the complaints about it because it is styled like other brands such as Zero Tolerance and they have a loyal fan club. Benchmade brought out about a dozen new knives this year, some for general utility use and some that would be better suited for hunting.
I think it is a real good knife but I prefer blades a bit more pointed myself. (I've been carrying a Bradley Alias 1 this week.)
