The Keith 452423 SWC, roll-crimped in the crimp groove, 5.9 grains of Unique. Shoots to the sights, groups well, and looks downright cool.

VERY purposeful looking round there. I am going to have to look into that for my .45 revolvers. Please tell me, how do you manage a roll crimp on the ACP case?
Same way as any other case....

....screw the die down until you get the roll-crimp you like.
Ho-kaaay...

I admit to having never tried but I thought the taper (or as shown on some 'net forums, "tapper") crimp wouldn't turn in the case mouth like that. I suppose a feller could cut down a Colt seater or mebee Schofield...
My .45 ACP die set....

...came with the seater die machined to produce a roll-crimp. I had to go out and buy a separate taper crimp die for my semi-auto .45 ACP loads.
Well, I'll be.

Never knew such an animal existed. Thank you!
Yep, mine, too...

I use the same die set for the .45 AR.

I have a Lyman and RCBS seater (45 ACP)and they both roll crimp. I had to buy an extra taper crimp die as well.
