Shooting .357 and .45 Colt but fairly inexperianced of cast boolits... I've cast tons of round ball for muzzleloaders, but just starting with the .357 and .45s.

Hornady and Lyman are both made by Hornady now, and both are crimp on checks. Old Lyman weren't crimp on style. Gator checks are crimp on and are much less expensive. Can find them on e-bay.

Bought several from him over the years. You can get them through the CastBoolit site also.

Hoot, go to the cast boolits site do a search for Blammer. He's a nice guy and sells Gator Checks at his price ,doesn't turn a profit. I get mine from him over there cheaper than Lyman or Hornady and just as good as either. Dennis Eugene.

Thanks all!
