I lost two guns!
During dinner with my family on Sunday my two sons started talking about carry guns. They both have CCW permits. In the end one went home with my Glock 26 and the other left with my S&W M640. They each also got holsters and boxes of ammunition. I'm not sure I was expecting that but it's what a father does. I've been carrying my 2" M64 anyway so I'm not hurt.

It's surprising how fast they can go away
when the next generation shows a genuine interest.
a great way to lose them. happens to me a lot!
I just lost one Saturday to my step mom.
She likes the M-66 and M15 my dad & I gave her but wanted a short gun for her purse. Rossi's sleeper 452 stainless 357 uses the same ammo and speed loaders and has a great grip design for her use with .38+ P BB 158hp

Best way to lose them.
Lost a few myself that way and planning to lose a few more.
I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER EVER WILL DO THIS !!! EVER !!!
I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL give away any---ANY--- of my guns to anyone who says or thinks " I want this one", in particular a family member !!! I have mine they can go get theirs. My wife loved my K22; I WANT ONE LIKE THIS....fine, we'll go find one of your own and YOU will pay, there are NO free lunches. She now has her own K22, SSM 32MAG, and USFA SA 44SPL too, not to mention shooting the dickens outta some of mine, like the S&W M63-4 5"HB she bought me for my birthday years ago.
You're ahead of me
I've pretty much lost count.
