Rejects
As requested, a picture of some of my typical rejects.
Dave
those look like one local gunsmith's who sells cast bullets
that he only casts during the winter months, keepers. I haven't been thrilled with his bullets quality.
Some I'll shoot
If I'm desperate, but I won't give them away.
No, those are....
...carefully processed bullet metal ingots that will make first rate cast bullets as soon as you melt them down and re-cast them!
Yes sir indeed!

Imagine getting a new to you 4 cavity 358429 mold.
Then casting up 20 some odd pounds of shiny well filled out beauties.
Then ya go to run them thru the sizer and it takes EXTRA pressure for several.
The mic says 0.368" as cast.
Now those were beautiful rejects.
Too pretty to melt, but can not find anyone that has a use for them.
Will send the mold back to Lyman and hope for replacement.
Heh, Heh, Heh.... nm

Anyone with a 9.3?
That would still be .05 over bore.
