My fave sounds: friend's voices & BOOM...clang...
thanks for sharig good folks having a good time
yes, it is Bill Jordan's. resides around those parts but
I'll leave it to the owner/caretaker pipe up in case he's sensitive about having its location out here on the 'net.
The smell of burning powder falls right in there too...

It's great to see a lot of familiar faces...
it has been my fortune to have met a goodly number of the good folks, just not all at the same time and not at CSA for the most part. :( It looks like (as usual) a good time was had by all!

Tom, thanks for the pictures. Great memories made with great friends. Can't beat it.

Lee The OAHA trophy is that of Bill Jordan.
Mark Roberts acquired the trophy from the Powell estate and brought it to CSA in Clarksville, Arkansas in 2011 when it was left in my care. In 2012 Bill went home with Mike Hutrya and came back to CSA in Clarksville riding shotgun from Texas. Bill went home with Mike H (again riding shotgun) and will venture to the Shootist Holiday in June. He will return to Texas with Mike who is a one man Bill Jordan fan club. Bill will probably stay with Mike H. for a good while.

Thats good Tom it was made to be shown around as much as possible. Its part of the Handgun World.
Thanks for sharing the photos...
Good to see a few familiar faces having a good time. Wish I could've been there to take in the experience first hand, but the photos will have to do for now. The display with OAHA would've been great to see in person as well. Hopefully as many as possible of those fine folks will find their way to northern Michigan for the TSMS this year. Cannot guarantee the weather, but so far it has been warm every year it's been held.
As always, great to see you again Murphy

Yes Bud, Won the 7th one. ole Elmer was there to see it and be photoed. Had his stroke there and stayed in the hospital several days before he could return home, was then bed ridden until his passing, several years later. But it was an honor to be in the company of Elmer the Col Askins, Jordan and Sketter in the same photo, even tho I had spent previous times with all of them.
Have a photo of it....
That would be a really cool photo to see!!!!
Lee....isn't the statue modeled from a picture of you?

Lee....isn't the statue modeled from a picture of you?
As a matter of fact yes, in fact I was at the sculpturers studio for several measurements, critics said the forearms were out of proportion. No I was just out of proportion. Thats when I had forearms.Sadly at 79 I am just a shawdow of that sculpture and or measurements.FYI, the sculptor taught me "Restorative Art" when I was in Embalming College, circa 1955...
Have a photo of it....
Somewhere, I'll see if I can find it or a
Mag that has it.
That's something I didn't know....
ain't that something !!!
