Highest capacity 22lr handgun?
Is there a 22lr semi-auto handgun with larger than 10 round capacity (like the double stacks in larger calibers)?
Highest capacity 22lr handgun?
YEP, there sure is.
I have no idea which is 'highest', but I do know one thing
Some S&W mags hold 12 bullets.
However, I should also say they're only single-stack clips.

KelTec PMR-30 holds 30 .22 mags, but…..
,,,acarse dat aint whuch you aksed.
I saw a one-off 22lr SBR built on a MP-15 platform somewhere
on the internet. Fellow had adapted an American 180 pan mag to it - held about 200rnds. Theoretically, it would work as a "handgun", tho not very conventional.
Isn't anyone making an 'AR-22' pistol yet?
I would think so, but maybe not; I've only seen (noticed) the carbine versions.

Oh, wait!
In the late 80's I briefly owned an Intratec .22
sorta like this.
It took 30 round mags. Trigger wasn't great and the sights were coarse; but the thing was accurate. It jammed with any brand of ammo I could get and it was gone within a week.
Ex-USFA's ZIP monstrousity will take hi-cap Ruger mags.
...I don't think that counts either.
Highest capacity 22lr handgun?
Didn't Calico make a "handgun" version of their M100 carbine with the 100 round helical magazine?
I think we may have a winner, folks

Things can only get 'better' for xUSFA & their ZIP GUN
For example, they could come out with a Theta Clip for it.
Just don't thay you heard it here.

I had 2 of those, with 3 magazines. Horrible to load,
pointless to try aiming, and only 1 of the magazines functioned reliably.
Wish I still had them.
Yep...
Takes Ruger 10/22 mags, even the 25 rounders:)
I'd be happy
with a Stevens favorite single shot.................
That's what I'm talking about! :) nm
.
I'll second that motion
Yes, it's a 'Ladies Rifle', but you know what they say: There's no accounting for taste.

Calico
If you can find one. I think the handgun mags were 50 rounds.
That is very cool!!
nm
There are Steven's type
pistols available as well.
I know, but 'Single-Shot Stevens' means *rifle* to me
So I posted a pic of my favorite* type: The Schützen-era Stevens 'Ladies Rifle' (which was available in many calibers, including .22 Long Rifle).

.
* No pun intended.

I wouldn't throw either out of my safe
for eating crackers !!!
