Gunblast does it again - Check out the Ruger SR22 pistol
And Ruger American Rifle. Now I wish I had held off on buying that Bersa 22
Get ready for the screaming about them ripping off...
…another design. lol
I noticed it looked remarkably similar to another pistol -
At least the slide is aluminum and not zinc! Sounds like it's a lot more reliable too. The one thing about my Bersa is it loves CCI but nothing else.
What about that Ruger Accu-trigger, er, uh, Marksman Adjus-
table Trigger on the Ruger American Rifle™.
But you can always buy a .38 Special Security Six...

Get ready for the screaming about them ripping off...
Not screaming but it looks like they've Ruger-died a savage axis and a Walter p-22....
It looks like Ruger out-Walthered S&W
The worlds getting to be a confusing place anymore.
Get ready for the screaming about them ripping off...
Have handled the Axis, think it has good ergonomics, and is prolly accurate as most Savages. Could see one in .223 S/Steel in a handy 'Scout' type of config, as being hard to beat for 'varmit/utility' trunk gun. Should take AR15 mags, tho. Savage oughta be able to whip that up from the parts bins, mebbe?
I think they missed a key feature........
Seems like since it so closely resembles the P-22, they should have threaded the barrel for a suppressor.
With the Walther having factory threading is a big seller for shops the sell cans.
Most everyone that owns a 22 suppressor has a Walther P-22 in there safe.
Just my 0.02
There is a MKIII set up for a can & optics available.
Maybe Ruger is behind the curve a bit.
Axis look alike at a glance.
From the close ups it doesn't look like an Axis to me. No more so than a T/C Icon or Browning A bolt. (both of which it resembles)
