I usually keep one of these handy for when I want to order something from a vendor that seems trustworthy on the goods but a little flaky on the electronic front.

If they wind up later spamming my email and I can't get rid of them, or if they pass my address onto some of their 'friends', I just close that email account and start a new one.

Anyway, I recently stumbled onto what might just be the ultimate in 'stealth' when it comes to throwaway email accounts: GMX Mail

The sneaky part is that outgoing mail usually doesn't make it to the recipient.
