FYI: S&W 25-5 (4-inch, blue) spotted at LGS for $649
It has Hogue 'rubber' grips, a pinned barrel, and I'd conservatively estimate its condition at 95%. No box or papers, just the gun.
I looked at it and wondered aloud, "What's wrong with this picture?"
Apparently, the owner consigned it not realizing he couldn't get it back without going through another dealer because he lives in a bordering state about 25 miles away.
It's been marked down once already from $699 to $649.
If you call on it, ask for Scott or Andy. The other guys are nice enough, but they're only 'employees', if you know what I mean.
Lastly, no connection, etc., just a heads-up on a nice revolver in .45 Long Colt.

Rats.
Long gone, that'll teach me to take a nap. They also have a 625-5 MG for $849, I think he said, and a 6" nickel 27 for $700, and a 610 10mm that I didn't ask for details on. All brought in by the same feller.

Andrew...Look!:)
You need this:)
Never mind...
Jack's Rats post didnt refresh till mine posted and it looks to be gone.
and a year ago I had to beg someone to buy mine for less
nt
About 2½ years ago, I sold mine for eight or nine hundred
The accounting on that deal was a little complicated.
First of all, *I* was the one doing most of the figuring.
The guy also bought several items, not just one, so he got a Volume Discount.
I remember it was pretty fair, but not exactly how it was apportioned.

I had one of those years ago. Hated cast boolits.
When I got it, you couldn't even see the rifling it was so leaded up. I traded it for one of the new Airlite .38's that had just come out.
I had a Model 66 that would do the same thing...
A box of cast bullets and you couldn't even see the rifling. Wish I had it back though...I'd shoot enough jacketed rounds through it to slick up the bore or fire lap it.it was the first gun I bought myself and now I kinda miss it.
