Llama Super Comanche 44 magnum
Would a Llama 44 magnum be worth packing home if I could get it for cheap or not worth the effort? Saw one at the local gunshop. I was in a hurry and it had just come in and wasn't priced yet. Had an 8 1/2" barrel and a scope on the barrel.
I don't think so
Probably better to save for something . . . better.
But that's just my opinion.

Llama Super Comanche 44 magnum
I've only seen .45 Colt/.410 versions. I wouldn't give north of $250, unless the scope was really good.
Sort of what I figured - not a lot positive on the net
Sounds like a bit of a gamble and parts hard to come by.
This is the revolver made in the 80's
For grins I looked on gunbroker - not even ONE listed. That tells me enough, especially after googling and seeing people looking for parts. Not a real gotta have anyway and I'm not loading for 44 mag.
Yikes!
Now if it was an Astra, that was a good one.
I have an Astra 45 I love - I'd have snagged a 44 Astra
Right quick
Astra 44's in Hollywood
The Astra "Terminator" (3 inch 44 Mag) apparently has some Hollywood credentials too. Fred Dryer carried one in the TV series "Hunter", and the anti-gun leftist George "Looney" Clooney carried one in the movie "Dusk Til Dawn".
I snagged an Astra 41Mag
never seen another one ever. Cylinder throats were small, but lapped 'em out to .411 from .409. It shoots like a stripped ass ape currently. Could this be a rare Astra ??
Llama Super Comanche 44 magnum
A guy tried to sell me a Llama .45 for a hundred bucks one one time. I wouldn't take it. Some things just ain't worth foolin' with.
I knew the autos were junk - former BIL had a 380
that wasn't much better than a paperweight. Basically fell apart.
