What the hell has USFA done..........
Cool! I'm going to get one.
.
I'm pretty sure that's a different "USFA."
USFA of single-action fame and fortune was apparently recently sold.
I don't know what happened to the name.

Unfortunately not. It's the same USFA. Doug Donnelly was at the Davidson's booth at SHOT promoting the new Zip. I asked him about the single action line, and he said that it hasn't been abandoned, they are "re-tooling", but to expect more expansion in the Zip line before we see any movement with new revolver production. Might just be me, but the unspoken vibe I was getting didn't leave me with much hope to see revolver production any time soon, if ever again. 'Tis a shame.
Yep.
They made 'em better'n Colt IMO. Maybe Obama will force them back into SAs.
I keep saying, "I'm glad I got mine." I understood that all
the skilled help had been let go and machines and tooling sold. I didn't see it myself so I don't know but if we see the USFA SAs again I guess we'll be calling them 2nd generation and getting premium prices for our "1st generation" guns.

OLD NEWS; SO WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
SINGLE ACTION IS GONE "REPLACED " BY THIS
Hard to believe...
And like you said, a real shame.
I suppose 'It's a(nother) sign of the times'...
:/

You know what they say...
'Ignorance is bliss.' (And if ever that were true, surely it was for me...)

What the hell has USFA done.....the usual, it seems...
The guy has a right to his dreams -- or fantasy -- and he certainly wants to make his mark in the firearms world. It's too bad for 'us' that producing fine SAA's apparently bored him. The amount of capital and skills he squandered [IMNSO} pursuing Chimerical Fantasy gratifications were his decisions. However, it's prob'ly the SAA'a that will be his most lasting material legacy.
Don't waste your time. Watch this:
Even worse than expected...
Which is kind of hard to believe, 'All things considered'...
:/
