Of the Troops & For the Troops
My first thought was....sure...big timber & assembly...but
...WOW.
Very nice precision woodworking. Without close eyeball, hard to tell how tight those joints, but I'm guessing they are pretty near invisible. The hardware is off-the shelf, but the latching is sure custom and well thought out. That type of work is a whole order of construction skill, apart from my knack for hard to find repairs and restoration finish. The backpages of Fine Woodworking magazine has a show n' tell section where that job could stand with anyone's.
For fun, I'd make a guess on price: between 3000 to 3500.00 -- plus some strong smart delivery guys.
Thanks for putting it up. It's a good smile to see such work.
My birthsay's next month, get crakin!
I like the masterful way it works and blend fine woodwork with guns and gadgets.
Glad you enjoyed that as well as I did.

Of the Troops & For the Troops
I immediately started to think about where I'd put
such. I just had a small room fitted out as a library by cabinet makers far beyond my skills. NO secret drawers and it cost $2000. It was nice to put all the books in order in one place. Found I had "extra" copies of some! Those have already gone as gifts. Anyway, this would have been preferable and would be great in my office.
