Once in a blue moon I get lucky...:-)

Serial #1296XX, which puts around late 1954 or early 1955. The photos don't do it justice.

Murph, that is drop-dead gorgeous! A great example of Smith's work from the day...

Hey Murph

You gonna bring that to Arkysaw?

I promise not to get drool all over it. Awesome!

Thanks guys.

It was one of those sleepers you find on Gunbroker. 1 decent picture and 3 bad ones. I contacted the seller and got as much information as I could before hitting the *BUY NOW*. I crossed my fingers and the wait began. It was in far better condition than I anticipated.

Catoosa, yep...it'll be makin' the trip. I plan on loading up some extra rounds for folks to enjoy.

Thanks guys.

I will give you a hunnert and a half for it before you blow it up.

Thanks guys.

I'm holding out. I ain't found a good onion sack for it just yet.

P.S. I've about got my trigger yank perfectly timed with my flinch now. I'm just about minute of #3 washtub at 15 yards.

Murphy

Just beautiful!
