"@#$%&!! Micro-Groove guns!!!"
Is what I heard upon answering the phone. A buddy bought a 1895 Marlin in .45-70 and loaded up a dozen rounds with some cast bullets given to him from a coworker (he's a newbie reloader).
Couldn't find the paper at 50 yards.
Getting completely erratic results at 20 yards.
Started reading the 'net blather and cursed the day he ever bought a rifle with those '@#$%!! Micro-Grooves'.
Went over to his house with a caliper only to find he was given bullets for the .45 Colt.
He may not be through the woods on this yet but that right there is a problem.
I just LOVE easy ones like this.
