Mr. Wilson,
I am Sari Young, Steve's wife and the only other person besides Steve in our organization. I am sorry to hear about your credit card problem, but it did not originate at our business. When you order something from our website, the card number or any other information pertaining to the card is not transmitted to us. It goes to a secure site with Quickbooks which only tells us that the purchase has been approved. I do not have your credit card number or any information about your credit card. I don't know how anyone got your card and do not even know where Brentwood is. I'll give the information to Steve but be assured, no matter what you think, neither Steve's Gunz, nor Steve nor I would be able to use your credit card. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

It Can Happen
I had it happen 3 times before I learned to always keep a second debt card for any kind of internet ordering. I only keep about $50 more than the order in it and transfer the necessary funds just prior to use. The bank suggested it. Once, the first time, it was intercepted electronically between here and people I trust implicitly - and as a matter of fact yall do too. Also once got some knives charged on my card that were shipped to an address in Vietnam. Spyware. If it's on the internet, it's public.
E-mail me with the particulars about Leverguns inaccess.
Your account is active. I want to get you squared away.

I don't like debit cards
Now monitoring your usage and the amount of money in your account will help safeguard you, but we use our cards for food, groceries, lots of things. It would be real hard for us to monitor our usage and keep just enough money in the account to cover it.
If you purchase with a debit card you are granting access to your money, if you purchase with a credit card then you are using the credit card company's money. I would rather that they take the risk vs. me.
My wife had a debit card, somehow someone got access and drained her bank account. The banks were advertising that they would put all of the money back, and they did put it back for us, but they have a lot of fine print in their advertisements too. She got rid of the card after that.
Just today she called me and told me that the credit card company called her and said our card number was being used in another state. They cancelled the card and will send us a new one.
Always use a credit card NOT debit for online traveling etc
don't punch in PIN code at gas stations etc... Like BJ said a credit card company will actively stop fraud banks will not until it's too late.

Absolutely Rob: that way you have some recourse and the cash takes time to process for the banks and reviews take place...so happy with Chase...one other time some guy was in Paris France and trying to purchase 5000 of jewelry and they shut it down...they are quick...my wife worked for them for 25 years..in corporate trust as one of 4 regional VPs...fine organization....
Yes, indeed, just didn't want for
us to be playing against each other. If we each gave him a new password it could get interesting.
somebody tapped into area, server, card info observed
by somebody. could be many things, think carefully before accusing business and doing the harm you predict. probably a rash of these local at all manner of business as info somewhere else intercepted such as service which handles the electronic transactions
