KPD switching to Sigs...
It turns out Glocks only last four years, never knew that. Perhaps that's why I don't have one? Naw, that's not the reason.

Uh Huh...
Sounds like a local PD here that replaced all their Remington 870's with Mossberg 590's because the 870's were "worn out". An insider told me that they had an inlfux of Marines and they wanted to use the same shotguns they'd used in the Corps.
Think the Glocks will show up used in the Volunteer
State or scarfed up by outside companies?
Uh Huh...
If my short curlys were blowin' in the wind, I'd rather have a wore out 870 than a brand new Mooseprick.
Only time I've had my hands on a Mossberg was when I was trying to fix one that belonged to somebody else.
I had to rebuild a Mossberg 20 pump
I bought it new, probably hadn't run much over 100 shells through it and it fell apart sitting in the safe! Granted it was loaded 24/7 but parts fatigued that should not have fatigued.

I don't think a police force can obtain enough ammo to wear out a Glock in four years. I personally know of one that a friend had a hand in testing with over 140,000 rounds of 9mm before they gave up trying to wear it out.
