The idiot didn't exempt the police because he really views the government, and thereby the police, as above and separate from any law he wishes to impose upon the peons who must be managed and controlled. My guess is that once this is brought to his attention, the law will be amended. He will exempt them by decree in the interim.

More mis information in that report than truth. I do t know of any dept that carry 9mm except NYPD and LE is exempt.
