FreeTagh #2 (!) • Milt Sparks Summer Special II (5" 1911)
(FreeTagh = Free To A Good Home!)
Let's start with the 'terms' this time around:
• The 'price' is ZERO ('free'), but you pay shipping (See shipping 'Options' 1 and 2 below)
• First to post, 'I'll take it', gets it
Again, I would prefer not to shop for a shipping box, so I will use Priority Mail only.
Shipping Option #1: If I detach the belt loops, this one will just fit inside a 'Small Flat Rate' box. That would be $5.35 to your door. (FWIW, this is the option I would select.)
Shipping Option #2: If you prefer a 'roomier' fit, a 'Medium Flat Rate' box would be $11.35.
'The choice', as they say, 'is yours.'
Either way, you can can send payment after receiving the holster.
Meantime, as you can see, this is a modified Milt Sparks Summer Special II for a 5" 1911. (Natural tan, 1½" belt loops, FBI tilt)
I sanded off the sharp 'nose' at the bottom front corner of the pouch, which resulted in much improved comfort by eliminating that 'pinch point.' (Note, too, the holster still covers the muzzle.)
However, I don't think the holster has much if any resale value, hence this 'FreeTagh'. ('My loss is your gain!' -- LOL)
As you can also see, I placed a can of Kiwi Neutral shoe polish in the photo. If I was going to keep this holster, I would finish the roughout body with this stuff. I did just that to an ancient SS1 for a J-frame, and I think it results in a better looking and more protective finish for the leather. However, since I will be keeping the Kiwi, this is optional.
Lastly, I will once again be using this email address for this 'FreeTagh': kroiler AT live.com (for communication only: NO PAYPAL)
Good Luck!
