Predictably, Cerberus is heading for the tall grass
I note they managed to lose money in 2011 while their product lines were selling like hotcakes.

I noticed Smith's stock dropped Monday
Makes me wonder if there are some really ugly things going on behind the scenes targeting gun companies and sellers.
Outfits like Cerberus , , ,
. . . very likely have a bunch of liberal weenies as stockholders who have gone ballistic over this thing and are demanding their money be separated from the gun business.
It will be interesting to see how that all shakes out. Might be better for the actual gun businesses in the long run.

Yes, the California retiree association or some such....
I imagine that's mostly liberal...

No Hobie. The California Treasurer is Bill Lockyear. Before Jerry Brown, he was the Attorney General. He is the liberal and has asked the two retirement funds, Cal Teachers and Cal PERS (Public Employees Retirement Sysytem to see what stocks they may hold that are in firearms companies. Once they've done their study, he will "ask" them to divest themselves of stock from any manufacturer that sells guns that would be illegal to sell in California.
Couldn't remember the name of the retirement funds...
Thank you for clearing that up.
