Sometimes life is a crapshoot......
.....when buying a rifle from the 'net you don't always know what to expect. Well, today we were winners.
A while back I ordered a Uberti Rolling Block carbine in .22LR for the apple of my eye, my son Vincenzo. It arrived at our enablers shop a week or so ago, but today was the first time I had a moment to pick it up.
Vinny, and my girl child (Tatiana "I want a pink shooter" Rose) accompanied me to Mickey-D's house of fine (?) repast where we dined in style by their lights. We then made our way to 1-2-3 Pawn, run by a good friend, Lee Zimmerman.
He saw my truck and had the necessary paperwork on the table when we walked in, so we bowed our heads to Washington DC and Olympia first.
Paperwork done, lo and behold, when I pulled the Uberti out of the box, a piece of fantastic marblecake walnut appeared! Fancy enough that my oblivious boy (who will be 7 years old on the 28th of this month) was impressed. Fancy enough that the 4 1/2 year old girl child said it had "clouds" on it.
Pictures to follow. The boy is pretty excited. My son is too....

Sounds pretty cool! I had an Uberti RB pistol in .357 awhile back. One of their carbines in .357 or .22 hornet would be a fun little plaything. Looking forward to seeing yours.
