we lost several in our Embassy including the ambassador, which is "the nations top representative" to another country. While in country they are in authority over all homeland dignataries even if the ones from homeland are visiting.

I was born in July of 1942 and soon thereafter my father was off to the Pacific and my Uncle to Europe to fight he war. I stayed with my Grandfather was in the Army stateside and traveled from post to post with him. I remember well VE and VJ day when my Grandmother told me "The boys are coming home".
We know that many boys did not come home, but paid the dearest price for our country. Like all American patriots since 1776, they answered the long roll of the drum. I will never forget those who died at Pearl Harbor, the Pacific and Europe. Never..never..
