Shot the new Troy carbine today

I worked nights this week and we worked 4-10's so I was off today. Took part of the afternoon to go sight in the red dot and test out the new carbine. It ran very well for me. A little tight at first but it broke in pretty well. I had to try some fast shooting upclose, as that's my main purpose for this one. Shot a little drill I have seen others shoot. 15 rounds on three targets; 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 4 rounds on target 2 and 5 on 1. Hardest part is remembering how any shots on which target!!

Travis Haley of Magpul fame has a video of him doing it around 3 seconds. My better times were in the mid 4's. guess if I got out more than five or six times a year I might do a little better!

Anyways, here's a little video I did of my shooting...

Thanks for sharing that. I haven't gotten out with mine yet, but hope to rectify that next week.

At what range do you set the targets for that drill?

Will run mine after we get back home next week

Having stuck with my old Colt Lightweight A2-type for so long, this one feels funny, but in a good way.

Mine were set up at about 15 yards.

Here is Travis Haley, of Magpul (and other) fame doing the drill in about 2/3 the time!

Good job, practice always helps.
