• Base Gun DOB/Colt-Factory-Build-Date was in the 1970s
• Hard-fitted Bar-Sto barrel
• 'Swensonesque' barrel positioner opposite ejection port
• Peened-and-lapped slide-frame fit
• Hand-swaged/formed mag well
History ("Nastoff's .45 Shop" and Beyond...)
• The gun is fully-documented
• The hand-written "build sheet" is two carbon-copy receipts long
• The original envelope it was mailed in is postmarked July 1990
• The bill for the work - minus the base gun - was $3363.00 (!)
• The gun was in the collection of the famous pistolsmith, Richard Heinie, for many years
