A couple of quick stories from AFG
My youngest is a C-130 pilot, deployed to Kandahar for the last couple of months.
I was about to chat with him (on the iPad) quite a while this morning. In the last couple of days he set the record for the fastest flight from Bagram Air Base to Kabul Airport (they are getting bored). It's 63 km by road, almost a straight shot. Flight time from wheels up to wheels down .... SIX minutes.
And he's promised some pics if he sees this again. A group of Afghan National Army out in a minefield, walking around trying to locate and dig up the mines. The punch line ... they had pillows strapped on as body armor. Pillows!
MAYBE IT DOESN'T HURT SO BAD WHEN THEY HIT THE GROUND

There is no IQ test to be an Afghan.
