Bought something I have no use for today

Was in an old gun store today and they had in the original packaging an old style rear sight for a Model 27 8 3/8 inch barrel. It is checkered on top to match the top frame of the Model 27. I believe these are no onger made by S&W. So if any one has a need let me know. If not it will languish in my parts box. It was just too interesting to my self to pass up.

For any of our members including you just what I have into it. Cost $39.00 plus tax. I believe around $42.00. So I guess with postage $45.00. I believe that is still less then S&W charges for their present rear sight. Hope you can use it. E-Mail you address to artandsandy68@msn.com and it will be on its way.
