OT...Leading Question: What belongs in a constitution?
Specifically a state constitution.
The reason I ask is a referendum is coming up this November and I am troubled more by the proposal to include it in the state constitution than by how the two sides of the question are being 'sold'. I will withhold the actual question for now so as not to taint any answers.
I appreciate any and all comments.
Thanks!
As little as possible...
...I've never been one for Constitutional amendments, but sometimes they are necessary. I voted against the last one we had here in TN (state-run lottery to fund primary education - "it's for the children").

I am against almost all constitutional amendments...
There are several on the ballot here in Michigan and none of them are a good idea unless you belong to a couple small, powerful, special interest groups.
+1 for slippery slope…as little as possible is good
