He passed away after a year+ long struggle with cancer, compounded by a lifetime of drug and alcohol abuse.

I really lost him years ago, as did his family, due to the excesses he couldn't control, nor did he care to ever try.

A shame really, he was one of the most gifted and talented men I ever knew in so many ways. A terribly wasted life, yet it still hurts so bad.

I will miss him though, but then I have already missed him for a very long time.....
