Last year at our place in Eastland County it got so bad, that I bought a 100 gallon water tank and transfer pump, just so on occasion I could hall a trough full of water the 119 miles from Fort Worth to Nimrod. I feel for you. Drought condition if anything are understated on the news.

Might not be much and it sure won't get this area out of its "exceptional drought" designation but anything is welcome. I had to start putting out hay for my horses in July. Usually don't need to do so until November. Even lost one in the extreme heat a few weeks ago and that has never happened to me before. Ponds around here are dried up and everyone is hauling water if they still have livestock. Most have sold off their cattle. Everything that can be bailed has been done. Hold on to your hats. Food prices are going to go through the roof before this thing is over.
