where it's easier to stand and fight... unless it's bees or other such killer mobs. It's amazing how much motivation to mobilize in an exit strategy we can find!

I once set a near Olympic record for the 440 yard dash. Bucking bales in an 80 acre field and picked up a square bale blocking a very angry bumble bee nest. Having been nailed by Yellow jackets and Red Wasps a few times, I can relate.

Mowing the property yesterday I had an encounter with angry bees. By the time I got away from them I was stung 15 times or so. Left hand is the worst area .. my right arm was second. Got a few hits on the head.

I tried to appeal to their kind nature and love of fellowman but to no avail.
