Target guns.....

Had the privilege to visit with an old schoolmate of my from back in the day during a weekend pheasant hunt in western Kansas.

He is a poor Kansas wheat farmer....works about 10 sections....paid for for probably 50 years...has his own elevator...can store 5 years production...price up he sells...price down he holds....

After a nice dinner and a bit of Royal Crown we got to peek into one of the safes...

A Webley Greene adjustable sight .455 target gun...not quite like new but almost...

A Smith New Model Number 3 adjustable sight .38/44...lots more of this stuff...

Just a whiff...then the double rifle safe opened....and then the single shoot rook rifle safes...

You hear about this stuff but it is wild to actually walk up on it...

Byron
