that way. See through mounts ruin any possibility to achieve any sort of stock weld...Invest in a better scope! Redfield's 2x7 has good glass and is very affordable. as is much of the Vortex line of optics.

Mini 14 ranch rifle mount

I have a clamp on see through mount on my mini 14 ranch rifle. I have had trouble with it working loose. The last time Ioctited everything which hopefully fixed the problem but am still thinking of a replacement rail that clamps into the divots on the receiver. Any suggestions? I have a compact scope with lighted reticle. I have had issues with it being seated far enough back to see the entire View too and have extended rings I’m on the mount.
