If that is true, I am aghast at how you could even think that about your own daughter! No matter what path children take, as long as they are not directly trespassing on another's life, liberty, or property, what does it matter what political or religious path they take? We all want our children to be happy, safe, and successful; does that mean that you are justified in disowning them if they don't buy in to your own bigotry and prejudice? It's always reorienting to look at how God treats his children as a parent. He never disowns us but continues to love us no matter our path, and the door is always open. We will have to suffer the consequences of sin, but God is always there to love and forgive.

Daughter walked into the family living room last night and said
"Dad, cancel my allowance immediately, forget the College tuition,
rent my room out, throw all my clothes out of the window; take my TV,

Well, she didn't put it quite like that, She actually said ...

"Dad, meet my new boyfriend - Muhammed. We're going to work together
on President Obama's reelection campaign.
