Then compounds came out and I discovered field archery. This was one of my favorite shooting sports of all time and I really miss it. I shot field archery with my target recurve and fingers, and also with a compound and both fingers and a release device.

Last weekend my club hosted our annual Dogwood Tournament, and it was my job this year to get the course in shape. This year's shoot was a full field round. I think I did a pretty good job, and received lots of compliments. Here's a few photos of the "boys" enjoying the shoot:
