WTS - Bowen .25-20 3-Screw Blackhawk (reply)

Bud,

It is not marked "Bowen Classic Arms" anywhere on the gun, but is undoubtedly a Bowen. I bought it and another Bowen custom (my .50 Special) from the same, well-known collector. He had purchased both from the original owners.

The gun didn't look fired to me when I got it, but I don't rule out that you may have shot this. It is an older Bowen conversion, best I've been able to gather.

I love that cartridge...its like a reloadable 22Mag but packs more punch. I may have fired that gun if it was one of the 1st Hamilton built.

WTS - Bowen .25-20 3-Screw Blackhawk

WTS - 3-Screw .357 Blackhawk customized by Hamilton Bowen into a very tight, very nice .25-20. Gun is in fantastic condition. I got it in a package deal with another custom and I don't think it was fired when I bought it. I shot about half a box of ammo through it (which was all I had on hand) and it is wonderfully accurate. Custom cylinder and barrel marked by Bowen with factory-style markings. Bowen rear target sight and custom front sight. Extremely tight, as you would expect of a Bowen, and retains over 98% blue. It is almost new. Has a few very light, very fine marks in the metal finish that you have to get it good light and be really picky to see. Very nice, very handy revolver. $1450 shipped from my FFL dealer to yours.
