I was listening to Levon's "Electric Dirt" CD coming back to Texas from CSA. He is in a better place and I will miss him dearly. He was a good man and a class act.

One of the greats. I think Richard Manuel and Rick Danko are playing Life is a Carnival and welcoming Levon in Heaven. They are happy. I am sad however and am listening to The Weight and The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down.

You know, guys like Levon Helm come along and have such an impact on other folks with music that you almost feel like a family member passed. Silly I suppose, but that's the way it is.

A good ole Arkansas boy who made good and made people happy.
