At the last minute they asked a priest from another parish (they have two priests there) to do the service. And I do mean at the last minute! We found out late last evening!

All is good. I could have done the necessary deed, but a full service means partaking of Communion. A service by a Reader omits that, so we were all better off.

Thanks for thinking of me though, it is much appreciated.
