Oklahoma floods...'Checking in'. (reply)

Thanks for the offer of the boat. But things are looking better, woke up and didn't hear hear thunder & the sun is shining.

All my friends and family have fared well luckily.

On the other hand, people never cease to amaze me when it comes to stupidity. 13 people had to be rescuded (helicopter style)from a 2 story cabin they'd been warned the day before to vacate. I'm thinking they need a big fat bill for that one.

Oklahoma floods...'Checking in'.

Most of the guys here know I live in Oklahoma.

Where in Oklahoma? The far S.E. corner where all the major flooding it taking place. We have 3 lakes Broken Bow, Pine Creek & Hugo Lake. They've never been this full and a few people have had to be rescued by helicoper (13 from one cabin alone). Rivers, creeks, everything is out of their banks.

About the only good news is, I'm on high ground and doing good.

Prayers for those who have and are being affected by the flooding would be much appreciated.

Murphy
