S&W question (reply)

Back then the N-frames (not including the model 28s) were selling for approximately $120 to $140 on the high side. When Dirty Harry came out they were up to about $180 but that became $450 almost over night.

S&W question (reply)

Was it a swing-out cylinder revolver in SA only. It would be worth more today than what you would have paid back then. I try not to dwell on those missed opportunities, too many of them in my past, depressing.

S&W question

Back in 1967 I was stationed at Pinedale Wyoming while in the USAF. I was not knowlegable at all about handguns. A store there had if I remember wright a S&W in either 45 Colt or ACP that was single action only. If this is correct what would such a vintage S&W be worth today? At the time my E-4 salary could not buy it and I purchased a convertible single six I wish I still had today.
