<title>home swaged jacketed bullets (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cool idea, that has to be one tough bullet with a thick brass jacket like that, wonder if they will show any expansion at handgun velocity. I wonder with that thick jacket what does it do to pressure?  A long time ago someone was doing .45 acp cases they filled with solder out of a .475 L. Kind of like a poor mans Punch bullet  I'll have to read up on this idea.  Thanks</p>

<title>home swaged jacketed bullets</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just got my swageing dies from BT Sniper over on the Cast boolit forum and ventured into the world of swageing my own. These are .45 cal I'll shoot in my 1911. The jackets are fromed from spent .40 S&amp;W brass and weigh right at 227 grains.
