By all means get the shot. I had one fairly minor experience with shingles a few years back and do NOT want to have another one. I had no problems with the vaccine.

With some great people. No, not the shingles part. I had a case of shingles in my sciatic nerve on the right side when I was 46 years old, so can understand your discomfort. That nerve has never been right since and makes wearing a strong side holster a literal pain in the a**. Have thought about getting the vaccine, but need to learn more about it's effectiveness and potential side-effects first.

I worked at Merck, and know a lot about it. Definitely worth the protection for anyone over 50.

And dropped off holsters to Jeff Quinn at Gun site. Where I met Bart Skelton and several gun writers that know of my work. As well as a few Gunsite instructors that I have taken classes from...Like old home week. Doctor told me I have shingles...makes me feel a better in that I can but a reason to feeling so run down lately...
