I like to take a piece of tape to the rear of the existing sight. Blacken with El Marko pen and cut the notch with a razor or whatever. Then I know what's going to happen IF I make a change. Masking tape has worked but Duct is nice also. Fold the tape a bit so the top is doubled if it's to flimsie. Good luck my friend.

The bottom of the notch is roughly at the top of the posts on the old sight - that's a pretty big shift. I have ordered a sight pusher. I will let you know how things turn out.
