I think I'll keep using the LilGun and will see if I can work up another good load with some 4227 single base just to see how barrel temp feels after a couple magazines vs the LilGun.

If it ends up burning out a throat or barrel ? They make thousands of barrels everyday !! BUT inch+ groups at fifty yards from the 32-20 SAA and the M53 work just fine.

I have been burning mine up in my .22 hornet, actually it is the same load you are using just seated to a longer OAL for my 21" contender. I haven't been able to get quite as good accuracy but I haven't shot mine off of a bench much, mainly resting on the truck window or over the toolbox.

to my 43 Winchester in 218Bee. Have only used it sparingly, but it does give good results. Going to keep a close eye on the throat with my Hawkeye borescope.

I'd quit using LilGun in my revolvers after Freedom Arms found it was burning up throats so I've had a couple pounds collecting dust. Here's a pic of factory Prvi ammo and handload groups from my new CZ 527 at 100 yds. Wondered if you all had an opinion on LilGun in 22 Hornet? I don't want to burn this barrel prematurely. Thanks. Matt
