Had one in my 20's & I know what that misery is all about. After pissing blood and hamburger for 3 weeks, I passed a 7mm one in the men's room one day. They used to give you a little screen-bottom cup to catch particles so they could 'analyze' them. Damn thing knocked the cup out of my hand.

Te blast only works if it is still in the kidney, if it has started in the ureter then can put in a stint. That's no fun either. Just enlarges the ureter enough to let it pass. Usually takes about a week. But every time urine passes the stint feels like the stone is moving, about drops you to the floor with pain. My youngest daughter has had 3 she says having a baby is easy in comparison, she's had 4 kids. FWIW

Heavily medicated, they will not be able to perform the procedure until Tuesday, they will try to sonic blast it first. Thank you for the prayers! She is groggy but not in pain.

My wife is currently in the ER, she has a 7 1/2 mm kidney stone that has to go. She is in pain and I would like a prayer or two that she feels better and the Docs can help her out.
