I ended up bringing the OM home this morning. It
locks up nice and tight, bore and chambers are like new. Finish is kind of ugly, but not as bad as I thought. It's missing the set screw for the rear sight, but I should be able to take care of that pretty easily. According to Proof House, it was made in 1941.
