If so, I have a piece you can have. It's about 1" x 4" x 7.5", medium dark, not much figure/grain, and no cracks. Let me know.

I'm working on a friend's old Essex sxs 12 ga shotgun, cleaning up the metal components and repairing the stock. A piece is broken off the stock and lost. I need to patch this and would like to find a piece from from maybe an old dark black walnut stock that has aged for a better color match.
I don't need a large piece, maybe something like 1"sq x 4" long.
Anyone have a piece they are willing to part with?
