Looking for 455 Webley Brass (reply)

Midway states it will be backordered until October. Still looking. I have found plenty on Auction sites but for $65? Not hardly, I could stand $37 for the eventual brass. At 13,000 PSI it should last a good long time.

Thanks

Looking for 455 Webley Brass

I will be buying an Enfield 455 made in 1925 in a few days. It is an unshaved Webley (not converted to 45 ACP) I got the opportunity to shoot it last Saturday and it was a shooter indeed. I've been looking around for 455 Brass. There isn't any to be found except Bertram and it looks like its been made from 45 Colt on a lathe which I could do if I was indeed desperate. Dies and bullets will be no problem. One good thing about the deal is the box of ammo that goes with it (minus the six I shot).

Curious if any of you gents might have a line on some. If I remember correctly Starline once made 455 brass.

Thanks

Bob
