I have a very nice convertible 4 5/8" one with grey box that I'd sell for $450+shipping or trade for a Glock 17 or 19 prefer Gen 3.

I told him the 7.5 was perfect for shootin.

One never totes a gun around here enough to bother about how handy it is.

I seem to remember my original 44 Mag Flat Top was 6 1/2" and that seemed like a great compromise.

Now ifn you will jus trade that 92 in on a 45, you will be in tall cotton!

I'm looking for a few with 7.5" plus. The NM vaquero's with 7.5" barrels sure look very cool to me.

The days of $250-300 Blackhawks are probably long gone.

The longer barrel? It can always be made shorter... Not terribly expensive and you can also mount a pinned sight to play with.

Its pesonal peference - I like the 7.5" guns and shoot them better than the short ones. It's probably at a good price because its not a short one.

Local gunshop has a used NM Blackhawk in 45 in excellent shape for $399. Is that a pretty good deal? Only fly in the ointment is it has a 7 1/2" barrel - not a great packing gun. It is on consignment so they won't come down on price.
