<p>I prefer the location of the tang safety as well as the aesthetics. Admittedly, neither of those preferences addresses which safety performs its' function better than the other.</p>

<p>I've always preferred the newer bolt mounted firing pin safety like the Mauser.</p>

<p>I don't have a good excuse to buy it other than having a decent amount of '06 brass. It's a good looking tang safety model. I've got too many other things that 'need' purchased now. It seems like a great deal at the current price. I've bought from these folk before and they constantly under-evaluate the stuff they sell.</p>
